So I’ve thought about what to write about Paolo and Patricia for weeks now and I’m still not sure where to start. Their wedding was one of my all-time favorites. I was beside myself with glee shooting all the wonderful details. Vatel Manila‘s flowers make me happy every time. There were lovely hand-painted signs by Fozzy Castro-Dayrit. Kar of K by Cunanan did a stunning job styling the reception, and it blows my mind that what they did wasn’t even the original plan. They had to pack up and move everything indoors at the last minute because of the rain. Oh yeah, it rained. It didn’t matter. Everyone went home smiling.
There’s so much to say about these two. I love the story of how they met, and I’ll probably share it when I get around to blogging their engagement shoot. They have excellent taste in music. They wrote beautiful, beautiful vows. (Check out their SDE video by Phoeben Teocson Cinema.) Tweets of their daily lives make me laugh out loud. Patricia lovingly pokes fun at Paolo, but you know she takes care of him even on his third day of man flu. And I truly have to mention Paolo’s badass elephant and polka dot pajamas. Because they are seriously just. that. awesome. I can’t imagine anyone else pulling them off with swagger. There’s something about how these two are together that make me happy. They remind me a bit of me and Jeff.
Paolo and Patricia, it’s been such a treat shooting you two. Very simply, and with all sincerity, I am a fan of your love. Jeff and I wish you could get married every year. Haha. We’re looking forward to reading more about your adventures in marriage. Much love always.
