The Firestarter Workshop

Jeff and I have been considering holding a workshop for about a year now, and last week, everything fell into place, starting with a few texts to Dylan of Vatel Manila and Facebook messages with Veluz. There may or may not have been shrieking involved on my part, I cannot confirm this. Haha. And with a few more messages, we had our workshop dream team assembled. The shoot portion will be made possible by some of our favorite people in the wedding industry: Veluz, Vatel Manila, Chichi Sotomil, and Veejay Floresca. We have Jason Magbanua onboard as guest speaker. After all, who better to speak about branding than the man?

We would also be seriously remiss in not thanking Abet and Benz of Weddings@Work for helping launch our careers back in 2008 when we were so very new and had no connections in the wedding industry. We owe so much to them.

The Firestarter Workshop is sponsored by VSCO Film, ProPhoto, The Peninsula Manila, Weddings@Work, and AsukaBook. There will be discounts from both VSCO Film and ProPhoto for all workshop participants, and we have a few treats to raffle out from our sponsors.

The Firestarter Workshop will be on September 22-23, 8am-5pm, at The Peninsula Manila. The workshop fee is P12,500, but there’s an early bird rate of P11,000 until September 16. The fee already covers snacks and lunch at The Pen for both days, and I am told there will be a continuous supply of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. (Although it’s highly likely Jeff will consume all the hot chocolate on his own. Hee.) There are limited slots so book early. We want to keep the number of participants down so we can focus on each and every one. The fee includes email consultation for the week following the workshop.

We’re very excited to be doing this, for the opportunity to teach and share the things we’ve learned along the way. I’m sure we’ll learn a lot from you, too. Shoot us an email at firestarter@jeffandlisaphotography.com to reserve your slot.
