It was a lovely, chilly day in Tagaytay when these two got married. The memory makes me happy as I recall it from this week’s 41° Celsius in Manila.
Steffi is an event stylist and product photographer. We shoot our hearts out at every wedding, but there’s just a tiny bit more pressure each time you’re shooting a fellow photographer’s wedding. It’s the good kind though. And she is seriously the sweetest, most genuine person.
There is a photo of her hugging her father and weeping just before she left for church that I love so much it hurts my heart. It’s raw and honest and pure love.
This wedding had such tastefully curated details, but what sticks out the most are the emotions. Also, that entourage dance, man. The groomsmen killed it. I couldn’t stop laughing while editing their on-site slideshow, which made it a little bit more difficult, but so, so worth it.
